Welcome to our Boarding Cattery

Where nothing is overlooked except the scenery...

Our cattery, based just outside of Salisbury Wiltshire, is one of a growing number of catteries using the UPVC designed accommodation from Pedigree Pens.

We opened on 1st August 2008 following a long period of preparation. Since then we have been very busy developing the reception, office and kitchen to make dropping off and collection of our feline guests as pleasant as possible.

We are a small, family run business offering a first class boarding cattery that has been designed and built to meet the guidelines published by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and also in accordance with the standards laid down by the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB).

We are conveniently situated on the A338 in the picturesque village of Winterbourne Gunner, 4 miles to the North East of Salisbury.

Our Cattery accommodation is spacious - each pen allows for up to 3 cats sharing from the same family. We also have larger family pens that will accommodate 4 cats from the same family. Each pen is heated by thermostatically controlled panel heaters.

All cats boarding at Riverside must be fully vaccinated against Feline Respiratory Disease (cat flu) and Feline Enteritis. Owners will be required to show their cats inoculation certificates on arrival at the cattery. We regret that we cannot accept cats without proof of inoculation. It is advisable that cats are regularly treated against fleas and worms at least 7 days prior to boarding.

Arrival and Departure of Guests:

Our opening times are 09.00 - 12.30 & 14.30pm - 18.00pm Monday to Saturday. On Sunday's we are open for collections only from 10.00 - 12.00. We are closed on Bank Holidays

We are happy to take telephone calls between the hours of 08:30 and 18:00 for bookings. If we are feeding the cats when you call please leave a message and we will be happy to phone you back.
